The photography contest will run from 13 to 15 October in the Cartagena Speed Circuit, during the activities taking place to mark the Solar Race Región de Murcia 2011.

The theme of the photographs covers the staging of the competition and other events, with the following categories:

Innovation. Photographs dealing with technical aspects of the vehicles taking part in the competition (mechanical and electrical systems, vehicle assembly, energy sources, ...)

Efficiency. Photographs illustrating the progress of the competition and free training, dealing with driving styles, pit-stops, overtaking manoeuvres, race start, ...

Open. Photographs dealing with general aspects of the Solar Race Región de Murcia 2011, such as the crowds, attendance of public figures and celebrities, awards ceremony, signs, ... In general, any aspects not covered by the other categories and which photographers may feel to be of interest.
